"In the darkness and cold of the Dark sleep the Shinma. But it is not a
quiet sleep. Therefore, there exists the Vampire Clan, the guardians of the
Shinma's sleep.
The Shinma call upon the corrupt minds of humans to bring them into the
human world from the Dark... A single girl lives to return those Shinma to
where they came from. This is her story.
Her name is Miyu. The new guardian of the Shinma, Vampire Miyu."

"A vampire's time never ends... I am Vampire Miyu."

Miyu:
"Larva, I can hear a sad voice.

Miyu:
"I wonder where it's coming from."

"But where is she?"

Yui:
"Mama... Mama... Papa..."

"Mamaaaaaaaaa..."

"I've found her, Larva."

"If I so that, she'll be freed from her suffering, eternally happy."

"Yui-chan, I'm coming!"

"It's my duty to return it to the Dark..."

"Yui!!"

Aya:
"Aw, hell. Where could she have gotten to? Aunt's getting worried."

Aunt:
"Have you found her?"

Aya:
"Nope... I wonder if anything's happened to her."

"Let's look over there."

"I'm so sad... But I mustn't cry! Not now that our parents are gone."

"I have to be strong, now that it's just Yui and me."

"Larva, I hear that voice again. So like yesterday..."

"Yui.... Why did you have to die?"

Aya:
"I want to die, too..."

"What... what were those marks on her neck?"

Miyu:
"What's wrong, Aya-san?"

Aya:
"Who are you? Do you know me?"

Miyu:
"Yes, I know you. Weren't you the one crying last night?"

"You want to go to where Mama and Papa and Yui are, don't you?"

"Who are you...?"

Miyu:

Aunt:
"What's wrong? Are you alright?"

Aya:
"Uh, yeah..."

"I'll but leaving this house is, too. Oh, look... there are pictures of
your mother and me, too."

"Aunt!!"

"This girl! Do you know this girl?"

"I must have forgottenm her name. She was one of the girls in the
neighborhood. She was cute, so there were alot of boys taking her
picture... When was that? This must be more than 20 years ago."

Aunt:
"It must have been taken before she lost her parents."

Aunt:
"She was in middle school, like you. They just left and never came back."

Aya:
"Like me..."

Aunt:
"I suppose she went to live with relatives after tht. I wonder what became
of her."

Aya:
"I know this girl."

Aya:
"That's her. I know it. The same white kimono, the same red obi... Could
she be... a ghost?"

Aya:
"She looks exactly the same as she did so many years ago..."

Aya:
"Maybe it's her daughter."

Miyu:
"Larva, do you resent me?"

Miyu:
"Did I drag you into this, or did you want to help me?"

Miyu:
"The smell of blood... the Shinma must be close."

Girl 1:
"What, again? How many is it now?"

Girl 2:
"Could it really be a vampire? There was no blood left in the body."

Girl 1:
"This is creepy."

Miyu:
"Larva..."

Miyu:
"Let's put an end to this tonight. This can't go on. Let's hunt it down
before it can kill more people."

Miyu:
"We're coming for you, Shinma!!"

Miyu:
"This vampire incident's really causing alot of noise."

Aya:
"Miyu, take this."

Miyu:
"Why thank you."

Aya:
"Miyu... what are you?"

Miyu:
"Even I don't really know. Why I exist... Why I hunt the Shinma..."

Aya:
"Shinma? Are you involved with those vampires?"

Aya:
"Are you a..."

"Until tomorrow, Aya... Tonightm there is something I must do."

Aya:
"Miyu?"

Aya:
"You promised me! You said you'd take me to Mama..."

Aya:
"...Mama..."

Aya:
"Mama... So the girl in the picture was Miyu... She hasn't aged at all.
What kind of vampire isn't affected by a crucifix?"

to the Dark..."

and you don't know?"

"Hey, Larva... I met a cute boy today. But he's only human, so his beauty
will eventually fade. I want him to stay beautiful forever."

"Ha ha... I've decided!"

Miyu:
"I will give Kiriyu Sho my blood."

Chiaki:
"Sho!!"

"It was great! Miyu got the highest score in the first year class on the

"How'd you do, Chiaki?"

"But you're the best tennis player in the school..."

Chiaki:
"Ha ha... I just had good teachers."

"Disappearing girls? Could it be... a Shinma?"

Chiaki:
"Finally! Looks like the budget's done."

Chiaki:
"I hope we have enough money for the costumes. I wouldn't want to miss
that."

Chiaki:
"So what are you going as, Sho?"

Sho:
"Well.. I..."

Sho:
"I'd like to see you go as a princess..."

Sho:
"You'd make a cute princess."

Chiaki:
"Sho..."

Sho:
"I... I love you, Chiaki."

Sho:
"Chiaki... I've chosen you. Now you will be one with me...!! Your
gentleness, your beautiful hair... All mine."

"Sleep for a while, Chiaki. The next time you awak, you'll be inside my
picture book."

Larva:
"Miyu, do you know what he really is?"

Miyu:
"I don't know."

Larva:
"Miyu!!"

"What are you trying to say, Larva? What is he?"

"Look. Kiriyu-kun looks so lonely."

Girl 2:
"Yeah. He and Chiaki were always together."

"Come to the library just before the festival's finale. I want to talk to
you."

Miyu:
"I'll be waiting."

Sho:
"Miyu. She's different from the others. Strange..."

Sho:
"Miyu... I've heard that name somewhere. But where?"

way. This isn't a horror movie."

"But there was no blood left in the body."

"And there were holes in the neck. Oh, stop it. This is giving me the
creeps."

Miyu:
"Sarashina-san... my next prey."

Girl:

Kana:
"Are you just watching today, Miyu?"

"Yep. My anemia's getting pretty bad."

Kana:
"Yeah, you look kinda pale. Are you sure you don't want to go to the
doctor?"

"I'm fine. Kana-chan, I have a favor to ask you."
